Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday celebrating the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla. This was the first time the Mexicans stood up to foreign powers. The seventh grade performed a skit explaining what precipitated this holiday celebration. This play was prepared and performed for Kindergarten and first grade.

 

After careful and extensive research the seventh grade teachers decided to change the Seventh Grade holiday to Semana Santa during Holy Week.
