Turnitin.com
To discourage plagiarism, the middle school
(6th, 7th, and 8th grade) has subscribed to Turnitin.com.
At the request of any teacher, students will submit written
papers to Turnitin.com for a plagiarism scan. Students must login
at the site with their user ID and password, and then enter the
particular class by clicking on it. Once there, they will click
on submit, and electronically send their paper by the due date.
Turnitin will keep a record of the submit time and date, and scan the
paper for plagiarism, generating a report for the instructor.
Students must also hand in a hard copy (paper) to the instructor.
